About (Biography)

I have a B.A. in English/Communications from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Completed additional courses in writing: three levels of Bookshop, an advanced copywriting class at Ogilvy & Mather, Los Angeles; Advanced Copywriting at the University of California-San Diego; and Feature Writing at Palomar College.

I began my writing career as a freelance correspondent for The Transcript, a 15,000-circulation daily in North Adams, MA.

From there, I worked as a copywriter and proofreader for two ad agencies in the Boston area before moving to California.

In San Diego, I wrote for an ad agency as well as in corporate marketing/communications settings. I have also written features for the North County Times, Escondido, CA, a 74,000-circulation daily.
